the jury for the king and queen upon oath present that Jn Crowe junior of Earls Colne in the county of Essex victualler 24.12.3WmM1 with force and arms at Earls Colne aforesaid in the county aforesaid in and upon a certain Solomon Stebbing gentleman in the peace of the king and queen then and there being did make assault and affray and Solomon Stebbing himself then and there did beat wound and maltreat and other enormities so that Solomon Stebbing did despair of his life to the great damage of Solomon Stebbing himself and against the peace of the king and queen their crown and dignity Solomon Stebbing sworn in court
