item at this court it is shown by the homage that after the last court and before this court Roger Mowle customary tenant of this manor surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Thos Fayer in the presence of Jn Parker and Thos Pryor two customary tenants of this manor the same testifying according to the custom of the aforesaid manor one cottage with garden with appurtenances called Boxteds to the use and behoof of Jn Meadowe son of Jn Meadowe of Wakes Colne in the aforesaid county of Essex his heirs and assigns forever but admission of the aforesaid Jn was respited at this court because of a bequest of the aforesaid cottage made be fore this upon which the aforesaid Roger should have the claim at that same court viz a mistake was made
