and furthermore at this court it is shown by the homage that Hen Abbott senior customary tenant of this manor after the last court and before this court viz 29.6.1636 surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Wm Adams instead of the bailiff in the presence of Robt Crow senior and Dan Lea two customary tenants of the aforesaid manor the same testifying according to the custom of the aforesaid manor all that messuage lying in Church St in Earls Colne and a garden and two crofts of land with appurtenances containing by estimation 3a more or less to the use and intention of his last will
