gentleman son and heir of
Wm Stephens
gentleman deceased came into court and sought admittance to one piece or parcel of customary meadow containing by estimation 2r more or less lying in the common meadow in Earls Colne and abutting upon a meadow pertaining to the messuage
which certain parcel of the aforesaid meadow
Wm Stephens
bought from
Jas Pennocke
and of
seised and by which it appears to the court that the claim of the said
Math
is true therefore the lord by the aforesaid steward granted
the aforesaid parcel of meadow with appurtenances to the aforesaid
Math Stephens
and delivered to him seisin thereof by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid parcel of meadow with appurtenances to the aforesaid
Math Stephens
his heirs and assigns forever from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord by the rents services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord for a fine etc
