and furthermore at this court it is shown by the homage that Jn Miller customary tenant of the aforesaid manor after the last court viz 1.12.1649 surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Jn Hunwicke instead of the bailiff and in the presence of Robt Abbott and Rich Fisher two customary tenants of the aforesaid manor the same testifying one cottage and yard with appurtenances parcel of Playstowe Kelne with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Rich Ely and his heirs but because he did not come to take the premises out of the hands of the lord after proclamation was three times made therefore there is a precept to the bailiff of the manor to seize etc
