| Jn Coe to parcel of Milfeild etc | whereas at a court held for the said manor 28.12.1641 Thos Coe and North his wife were admitted tenants to them and the heirs of the said Thos to a piece or parcel of a field called Milfield containing 1a2r more or less as it was then divided lying in Sible Heddingham being the east end or corner of the said field and lying between the highway there towards the south and a parcel of land called Ashbridge Field and Leyfield towards the north upon part whereof a cottage with a barn hath be lately erected now at this court it was presented by the homage that the said North died about five years since and that the said Thos afterwards and before this court died thereof so seised and that Jn Coe is his son and heir and of full age who being present in court desired to be admitted tenant to the said premises to whom the lord of the said manor by his said steward did grant and deliver thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the said piece or parcel of land cottage and barn with the appurtenances to the said Jn Coe his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents services and customs due and of right accustomed and he gave to the lord for his fine and did his fealty |
