clerk granted out of his hands to the aforesaid

one parcel of waste field of the aforesaid manor containing 4p square more of less lying next to the free messuage of the said

Rich Nevill
gentleman deceased and situated adjoining the green there to enclose the aforesaid parcel of land with pales and the aforesaid steward delivered thereof seisin to him by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid parcel of waste field to the aforesaid
Ralph
his heirs and assigns from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by fealty suit of court and the rent of 1d per annum and always to be paid at the feast of michaelmas on condition that the aforesaid
Ralph
his heirs and assigns at his and their own expense should maintain forever one footpath
for transporting and convenient for the crossing and passing of the king's subjects and for such a concession the aforesaid
Ralph
gave to the lord for a fine memo it was presented by the homage that the aforesaid concession of the aforesaid parcel of land thus enclosed is not to the harm of the king's subjects making their way if the aforesaid way is maintained as stated above |
