whereas at a court here held

Bridget Mathews
was admitted for herself and her heirs to one parcel of customary land called
Spriggs Garden
with a pond there adjoining a certain free tenement called
Scrivners also Squires
with appurtenances now at this court it is shown by the homage that the aforesaid
Bridget
after the last court died thus seised thereof and that
Jn Pigg
of Newport Essex yeoman is her brother and next heir who the same present here in court humbly sought from the lord admittance for himself to the premises as tenant to whom the lord by his steward granted and delivered seisin thereof by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid parcel of land with appurtenances to the same said
Jn Pigg
his heirs and assigns from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord for a fine etc saving the right of any other person who has right to the premises etc
