gentleman was admitted to him and his heirs to one messuage and eight parcels of land meadow and pasture customary called
Loshes
and
Fowlemead
lying in White Colne now at this court came the said
Jn Sandford
and surrendered by the rod into the hands of the lord by the hands of the steward the aforesaid messuage and parcels of land meadow and pasture with appurtenances to the use of
Jn Last
his heirs and assigns forever which
Jn Last
petitioned admittance of the lord to whom by the steward seisin was delivered to have and to hold the said premises to the said
Jn Last
his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod etc and the fine was pardoned etc and after in the same court came
Solomon Grimston
and by licence of the lord brought a plea of land against
Jn Last
etc in one messuage 30a of land 5a of meadow and 10a of pasture in White Colne aforesaid etc into which
Jn Last
did not have entry after the disseisin of Hugh Hunt etc and
Jn Last
present in court etc defended himself and brought to warrant

his wife
Jn Sandford
and
Susanna
his wife who present in court etc and brought to warrant
Jn Cooke
etc and
Solomon Grimston
recovered seisin against the said
Jn Last
etc and afterwards in the same court the said
Solomon Grimston
surrendered by the rod into the hands of the lord etc the premises aforesaid in the form of the recovery to the sole use of the said
Jn Sandford
his heirs and assigns forever who present in court humbly petitioned admittance etc to whom the steward delivered seisin by the rod to have and to hold the said messuage lands meadows and pastures with appurtenances to the said
Jn Sandford
his heirs and assigns etc and the fine was pardoned |
