at a court held 12.4.1711 Eliz wife of Josias Frith was admitted to one cottage with garden adjoining sometime Waytes next to the vicarage of Earls Colne to hold to herself and the heirs of the body of the said Eliz procreated or to be procreated by the said Josias and for default of issue to the right heirs of the said Josias which Eliz has since died seised now at this court came Edw Fryth eldest son and heir of the bodies of the said Eliz and Josias and was admitted etc to hold to him and the heirs of his body etc and gave fine etc and because the said Edw is an infant aged 15yrs therefore the lord granted Solomon Grimston and Thos Sewell gents guardians etc
