whereas at a court held 30.4.1717 Ann Thompson and Mary Thompson the daughters and heirs of the body of Mary Godwin late wife of Jn Thompson gentleman deceased were admitted to a croft of land with a garden there enclosed called Malloryes upon which croft a messuage has been long built and also to two other crofts of land containing 5a and to two other crofts of land lying between Mills Fenn and the brook containing 5a and to two crofts of land whereof one lies next Sandhills and the other was late parcel of Mills Fenn with their appurtenances and at a court held 3.4.1730 it was found that the said Ann Thompson then the wife of Beard died seised of a moiety of the said premises without issue of her body and that Mary Thompson spinster is her sister and next heir now came the said Mary by Jn Newton her attorney and was admitted to the moiety etc to hold to her and the heirs of her body etc and she gave fine etc
