whereas at a court held 6.3.1738 found that Jn Aldgate died before the said court seised of a cottage or tenement and yard parcel of Sadlers with the appurtenances at Colneford Hill and that Jn Aldgate is his eldest son and heir and because none came etc therefore proclamation made etc now at this court came the said Jn Aldgate the son and was admitted etc by the annual rent of etc and gave fine etc
