whereas at the last general court held on thursday 31.12.last it was found that Robt Lay died before that court seised of certain customary lands held by copy and because none came to be admitted therefore proclamation made etc now at this court came Jn Lay and was admitted as eldest brother and next heir of the said Robt Lay deceased to a certain toft with an orchard adjoining and two closes of land formerly six closes called Wades containing 10a to hold by the ancient annual rent of 4s1d and he gave fine etc
