at this court found that Jn Ford late of Sudbury Suffolk minister of the gospel died since the last court seised of certain customary lands and premises parcel of Gurnies Fenn and Millfield containing 10a situate in Sible Hedingham and Castle Hedingham held by the annual rent of 10s to which premises the said Jn was admitted at a court held 10.3.1735 and at the same court surrendered the said premises to the use of his last will and by his last will bearing date 12.8.1745 he devised the same in the words following viz first I give and bequeath unto my brother Wm Ford all that my copyhold estate which I purchased to myself and my heirs of Mark Algar lying and being in the parishes of Hedingham Sible Castle Hedingham and Great Maplestead and which appertains to the manor of Colne Priory as the same now or late was in the tenure and occupation of Jane Halls her assigns or undertenants to hold to him the said Wm Ford of Castle Hedingham aforesaid minister of the gospel and he was admitted in pursuance of the will of his late brother Jn Ford deceased to the said land and premises parcel of Gurnies Fenn and Milfield situate in Sible Hedingham etc part of which said premises are now planted with hops and are now in the tenure or occupation of Xoph Finch or his assigns etc and he gave fine but fealty respited
