also at this court found by the homage that Grace Hatch spinster on 15.11.last surrendered by the hands of Rich Wale steward all that messuage and garden called Old Hall held by the annual rent of 1s8d and also all that garden called Sages Garden held by the annual rent of 9d and also all that garden called Juds Garden held by the annual rent of 7d and also all that parcel of a garden lying near Juds Garden held by the annual rent of 11d and also all that parcel of land parcel of St Mary Croft containing 18rod2ft in length at the east end and 1rod and a half at the west end held by the annual rent of 10d in the tenure or occupation of Jn Shave wheelwright with their appurtenances to the use of the said Jn Shave of Earls Colne whereupon came the said Jn Shave and was admitted etc and gave fine and did fealty for the same
