and to this court came Jn Clerk senior and Jeff Bukwell and surrendered into the hands of the lord one cottage with garden adjoining called Tredegolds lying in the aforesaid Earls Colne so that the lord should carry out his will thereof and the lord thus seised thereof regranted the said cottage with garden to the aforesaid Jn Clerk and Agnes his wife and Jeff Bukwell and their heirs which free seisin is by the rod to hold to them their heirs and assigns at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the ancient title thereunto belonging and accustomed etc saving the right etc and they gave to the lord for a fine etc and made fealty
