to this court came Thos Moyven alias Moyne and Alice his wife she herself solely examined by the lord's steward and in full court surrendered into the hands of the lord one cottage with garden adjoining late of Rich Wenden sometime of Thos Martyne to the use of Math Stonard his heirs and assigns to whom the lord by his steward granted thereof seisin to hold for himself his heirs and assigns at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by making and returning to the lord the rents fines and customs thereunto belonging and accustomed and he gave to the lord for a fine to have entry thereunto as shown in the margin and made fealty
