it is shown by the homage that Robt Lyttle out of court and after the last court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Jn Estay instead of the bailiff in the presence of Jn Ward a tenant of the lord and in the presence of Jn Leffingwell similarly a tenant of the lord and the same testifying one tenement with garden called Buttons alias Burtons to the use and behoof of Alice his wife during the whole term of her life the remainder thereof after her decease to Robt Littell son of the said Robt and the heirs of his body legitimately procreated and in default of such issue the remainder thereof after his decease to Thos Lyttle another son of the said Robt and his heirs who the same said Alice present in court came and sought admittance thereof and thus it was shown by the homage therefore she was admitted thereof tenant of the lord to whom by the steward the lord delivered thereof seisin to hold for herself and her assigns for the whole term of her life from the lord by the rod etc the remainder thereof after her decease to the aforesaid Robt and the heirs of his body legitimately procreated and in default of such heirs the remainder thereof to the aforesaid Thos and his heirs and the said Alice gave to the lord her fine as is shown in the margin
