and surrendered into the hands of the lord one tenement
and one croft of land with appurtenances late of

lying upon Collford Hill and a certain meadow lying
a way leading from Earls Colne called
Bredge Meadowe
and also one aldercarr called
Gosfen
and three
lying in Colne Engaine and White Colne called
Cotecrofts
sometime in the tenure of
Wm
and
late premises of
Robt Fookes
and
Cecily
his wife and lying jointly between the king's highway leading from Collford Hill as far as Colne Engaine on one part and the lands of the lord of the manor of Sheriffs on the other part as by the metes and bounds etc and with this intention namely that the lord thus seised thereof should regrant the said tenement and other premises with appurtenances to the aforesaid

himself and the lord being thus seised of the said premises by the said surrender at this same present court by his steward regranted out of his hands to the aforesaid

his wife the said tenement and other premises with appurtenances to hold to them and the heirs of

himself from the lord by the rod etc to whom by the steward the lord delivered thereof seisin to hold to them and the heirs of
Rich
from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc and they gave to the lord their fine as is shown in the margin
