Jan: 4. This week the Lord was good to me and mine in our healths, peace, plenty, in preservation from dangers: lord pardon all my sins, humble my heart in all my failings. make me alway(s) mindful of you in my ways, the Lord good to me in the Sabbath, assisting me, his name be praised: at night it froze most bitterly, yet before morning it rained and thawed apace, a good providence; if this had been on the Lords day, we could not have sat in the Church.
