December. 13: Some days of this week windy and fair, so that men continued to sow corn but some days cold and rainy; my cold or inward stuffing, and in my head continued, but very gentle praised be the name of god, my family in health, the Lord good to me in keeping me from many strong corruptions and temptations, oh settle me on Christ my resting place and wait on him to be all unto me, the Lord was good unto me in enabling me for the Labour and work of the Sabbath, he in rich mercy accept of me, and make me more close in my walkings with him.
