Feb: 7. This week god was good to us in many merciful providences, my dear wife and daughter very ill with the ague, the Lord in mercy sanctify it to me and to mine and draw me nearer to him, and make us more mindful of serving of him, the Lord give me strength in mercy against my particular failings; the Lords day was a very snowy day, god was merciful to me in giving me strength for the same, the Lord in mercy give me a heart always to walk with him, and to serve him acceptably all my days; I had sensible experience of the deceitfulness of sin, the Lord in mercy preserve me, and give me wisdom to walk with him,
