May: 30: This week was good, and merciful to me, in my health, peace, and outward mercies, and towards all mine, my little Jane takes her weaning patiently and I hope gathers strength, to god be the praise of the mercy, my town full of foot soldiers but very quiet and orderly, without any disturbance from them hitherto: the lord was good and gracious to me in the duty of the Sabbath and the ordinances thereof, in the sweetness of the word, the Lord in mercy accept me and forgive all my failings.
