June: 27. This week the Lord was good to me and mine, in our peace, plenty, in many inward and outward mercies, the times were sad the reproaches on the ministry, and threats against them very great, and many gaping for evil to come upon us, yet god is our help and refuge: and in him is our trust who is our shield: god was merciful to me in the work and duty of the day, the lord in mercy, accept and pardon.
