11: This morning Mr R:H. his kilns, were fired with new charcoal laid in them, it was discovered, and prevented, with little damage, to god be praise, who watches over many preserving them. and shows unto others (as here) the danger, and then prevents it:. two scares more with fires in our town, but no hurt of consequence done through mercy: this week the lord was good and merciful to us in our health, and outward mercies in the duty of the Sabbath, he accept and pardon.
