July: 18.The lord was good to us in our peace and outward mercies. the good lord affect my heart with my failings, and neglect of my watch, and let me never be in bondage to any corruption whatsoever. the lord was in some measure good in fitting me for the work of the day, yet I am exceeding unfit for the work, lord enable me, and help me to perform the same to the glory of thy name.
