Octob: 10: This week the lord was merciful in continuance of mine and my family's health especially in these times of sickness and providing for us in days of scarcity. the lords name be praised in the same the lord merciful in keeping me from gross sins, make me sensible of all my heart vanities, and let my soul contribute the praise of thy name; the lord was good to me in my studies and preparations for the Sabbath, and affecting my heart with the things under my hand, in strength to deliver his word, my cold through mercy being no hindrance unto me the lord pardon and accept me and do me good for his names sake.
