December: 5: Lords day wherein god good to us, and in continuance of our mercies and also so also the next week and lords days: troopers among us, very erroneous fellows, but otherwise indifferent civil The Lord was good in continuing me free from pose and colds, only now and then a little stoppings, my dear wife under great fears she shall not do well of this child: ill in her head and back, one night ill as if she should have died, the lord in mercy revive her spirits, and give her comforts, and lengthen her days.

divers sad accidents about us persons suddenly killed, hurt, the lord worthy to be observed and praised in our preservation.
