March: 11: God was good and merciful to me and mine in our peace, in our plenty, we wanted nothing in all these straits of times, in our health, my navel well all this week, my cold did much abate, the lord good to us in the season, it being calm, clear, dry and warm, only in the nights very cold frosts, oh how great is thy goodness to us; oh that our souls might love thee for it, the lord merciful to me, in not leading me into some temptation, which at some times I am continually dogged withal, oh let no iniquity have dominion over me, I went on in my reconciler up to Exod cap: 5: and did something in my Hebrew studies; I intend to prosecute those studies mostly beside the labour of my calling, the good Lord in mercy assist me therein, the lord was good and merciful to me in the labour and service of his day, in expounding the 14th chapter, for divers passages therein, letting me see that men opposing him, and troubling his people, hinders not his peoples good but hastens their own ruin upon them,
