Sept. 9. This week past the lord was good to us in our health, and plenty of provisions wanting nothing needful, and quiet in my mind, though I and my wife have not the command of one penny of money. my little Ralph ill of his cold. my cold and wheeze continues my head is much stuffed my navel continued well, I somewhat feared, but my god has hitherto preserve me, who I trust also will keep me, I preached and expounded this day, wherein god was good and merciful unto me my heart very much musing on the vain delights of the world and apt to return to old follies, lord I look towards thee, let me never be cast down, Mrs Jacob with us on foot, she desired to be prayed for the lord in mercy give her a safe deliverance,
