28. concluded this month with a day of public humiliation set apart by the state, I hope god will make it a day of mercy and goodness unto us, I remember my poor babes for life, sight, and grace, lord I will listen for thy answer, which I trust shall be mercy and peace, I preached twice this day, the lord was good to me therein, [Weather] this month was dry and warm at beginning, dry, windy and cold at latter end as pleasant a Feb. as came in many years, an apricot was blossomed four or five days before the end of the month.
