July. 9. god good to me and mine in many outward mercies, in which I rejoice, and for which I desire to admire god, my wife , and little one never better, in any time, my heart more turmoiled than formerly, oh how busy is Satan, and how careless am I apt to be(.) the lord in mercy strengthen me against, and preserve me from every evil work, the lord was very good to me in the word I was this day preaching, god do me and many of mine good by the same.
