4: God good to me and mine, our cow calved well, which though common is a mercy, and all worthy to be minded and god to be praised; god good to me in the word, my heart had some lively affections in it over my hearers and desirous to preach in Jesus Christ into their souls, lord let not the word be without its efficacy, Heard of Mrs Haines delivery of a daughter, the name of the lord be blessed, the season good, and above all Jesus Christ is good to me, in my inward frame, though I find much daily weakness, yet he will pity, and cover all.
