March. 11. The lord good to me and mine in many mercies, I have my colds, and my thorns in conditions which is to gather up my spirit more unto god, but when shall it be, the weather wonderfully wet, the devil I find laying his old baits for me, and I am ready to be taken oh what a weak thing is man if god uphold not, the lord good to me in my quiet rest, when the fear of thieves is continually with others, the lord in mercy make me not fear so as to slight him, but indeed and really to give up myself to him, god was good to me in the word, and work of the day, the lord in mercy bless it, and accept me
