Feb: 10: God good to us in our family mercies, my old inward troubles in great measure removed(,) oh flay them in the blood of thy christ, and quicken my spirit to all thy services, the season fair, great noise of people called quakers, divers have fits about us, and thereby come to be able to speak, the lord help us to stand fast against every evil and error(.) I had a great cold this day and hoarseness, yet god enabled me cheerfully to go on with my work, or rather his, the lord bless it, and water it for his mercy and goodness sake.
