3. a Court was kept about the Nevils business, I agreed with Mr Butcher for his part and bid fair for Mr Weales ; my back turned, Mr Butcher endeavoured to buy Mr Weals and did, Mr Harlakenden helping it on very earnestly, I was troubled to see mens spirits but not disquietened in myself, discerning Gods hand in it, for my good, or some hidden providence to them they are not aware of, I did them the best service in all their affairs that I possibly could.
