July. 27. This week god was good to me and mine in outward mercies, An ill with a feverish ague which left her at the 3rd. fit, my wife somewhat better, some refreshing showers, god let me see some old temptations against, oh that god would help me with daily grace to resist daily temptations, Satan gets more advantage against us by our compliance, god good to me in the word preached oh how sweet a christ is to a hungry thirsty soul, make mine such and then fill it. heard Jane had the measles, and well again, blessed be the name of god who takes care of mine.
