Nov: 9. God good in many particulars unto me, the day cheerful, the word this day of wrath yet continuing against England, which oh that god would turn away(.) I find my heart very much shut up in prayer, I straighten myself in time, I do not watch unto duties as I ought, I find little presence of god with me, buy my heart annoyed with temptations fears. I have a strange numbness in my left arm, I had the like in my right leg, oh that such providence might awaken my heart to close walking with god.
