Jan: 11. god good to me this week past in many mercies, my An though very froward yet in good hopes of doing well, my swelling much abates under my ear, my wife better our hearts more in frame, and ways more comfortable, heard Major Haines had procured some monies from me from Dunmow which was in my thoughts somewhat hazardous, thus my god takes care of me, and looks after me for good(.) god was good to me in the word, my heart was up for our crucified christ, against the imaginary christ of the Quakers, or their mystery, the same measure coming and appearing in the flesh of any person to judge the world.
