Feb: 1: God good to me this week in taking care of my livelihood, in Dr Wrights life by whose death the school had gone from me worth nearly 70li. yearly to me, and besides the comfort to teach my children, the fear also of a bad neighbour. but lord the mercy will be the engaging thereby of my spirit to close walking and activeness for god, which my soul resolves, oh let me find a love cord therein pulling my heart closer to god(.) my heart was open and zealous for god and his christs honour in the good of souls and god was with me therein, oh let me be accepted and pardoned according to the greatness of thy mercies in christ.
