March: 8: My poor sister Mary , whose heart is broken with grief, and trouble with me from the priory before I was up. I advised her to submit to god in his providence to her, and to wait on him in his way, and worship in the sense of her emptiness, and that fullness of mercy and grace god has laid up in christ. the Lord our god in a Christ accept us. this day we broke bread, my poor sister came not out of the seat(.) I went to her with the bread, she came forth and joined with us, oh lord join you yourself unto her I most humbly beg of thee and let her heart abide faithful by thee. The Lord was good to me in many outward mercies, the lord accept of me in his christ, and delight in me to do me good.
