31: The lord good to us in outward mercies, my poor wife concludes herself with child and of a son; she is very sick in her stomach but I trust in a short time she shall do well, the lord for christs sake be good to her and carry her comfortably in the work, god gave us a very sweet and comfortable rain, when it began to be desirable to many grounds, he remembers us in our wants, the Lord was good to me in the word, christs grace our supply, the way of our deriving it from him, the lord help me to do it in all particulars for mercy sake, I humbly entreat thee,
