July: 4: heard of the safe return of Mr R.H. to London, god was good to him in his journey god bring him well to Colne, and command his blessing for him, heard Mr Clarke overthrew R.N. in tithes by means of a quaker, who would not for a defect, give away Mr Clarkes right, god can work out a mans good by his enemy, when he pleases, and surely we may appear to their consciences for our right to our tithe.
