Sept: 13: God good to us in our health, yet god has spared us, my wife very ill last day but I hope its something incident to her childing, the lord sanctify us, and all providences unto us for good, god good to me in the word, its dismal to be in a peaceless state, which is wicked mens, oh lord let it never be mine, times very sickly, with fevers that fill many places with pale faces, and very moist, and hot, which gives us plenty of grass, oh Lord watch over us for good
