March. 7. God good to me in outward things for which my soul blesses him, my heart is fully sensible of my carelessness in the great work of the ministry for which god may justly have a controversy with me, lord help me against it to bend my mind more seriously to this work than ever, oh let my soul find favour with thee I pray thee.
