June. 27: Still god is gracious to us, the season very fruitful and divers very good hay days last week, I received in this week part of a debt, which I never expected to have received viz 7s.6d. this was from gods providence that watches over me to provide for me. my heart is dead and heavy in duty private and public(,) I find my lively activeness for god abated, lord revive me and renew me as you do the face of the earth I pray thee.
