Sept. 19. God good to me and mine in our outward mercies, prayed heartily for rain, and a good seed time, lord answer prayer in mercy I entreat thee, I will wait on thee for a merciful return herein, the lord good to me in the word, oh make me one of thy friends oh lord and deal with me as such, yet there is peace among ourselves: said Baxter is dead, a great pillar to Cromwell and his way. but not so.
