Nov: 28: Tedious winter weather, formerly frost, now rain, snow, cold, hard time for poor, who pine exceedingly nipped with want and penury, the lord yet good to me and mine in our outward mercies for which my soul desires to bless and exalt his name, I pressed on the families of Colne family instruction, masters to practice it, and inferiors to submit thereunto, but lord if you press it not upon them, they will throw this duty behind their back.
