Jan: 16: I awakened to this Sabbath early, but find my mind running to my occasions, and not to be commanded in, lord it is thy command thy day should be sanctified, and it is my duty, and desire, and endeavour, lord strengthen me by grace thereto, I hope for an eternal Sabbath, oh let me be with thee in these here. god was good to me in the word, though I was much afraid because of my unpreparedness, the lord in mercy draw out my heart, more and more unto his service.
