Jan: 23. God good to us in our outward mercies, his kindness and care, gladdens my soul the more the less I meet with and find from others, my heart much meditates on Labans dealing with Jacob, whom god the more increased and blessed, my little ones about me hearing, oh they might sit together with christ in heavenly places, lord make mine and people sensible of a souls worth, which I spoke of this day, remembered the Parliament that most forget, and very few so much as speak of them, a spirit of slumber and remissness is wonderfully upon the nation, awake for thy own things oh lord, my eye is prying, whether this flattery, and smoothness of nation and prot(ector) will carry things.
